Of course, we always know they won't be with us forever -- that doesn't make it any easier but, at least, when they are old, they have lived a full life. Losing one so young -- and so unexpectedly -- has just about done us in.

I need to get back to my regular activities -- checking all the blogs I love, etc -- not to mention Christmas stuff -- but I'm still having a hard time being "normal". It will get better.Lynn Irwin Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11902088926070471878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4614549520973526083.post-58745302890844303632008-12-14T12:04:00.000-05:002008-12-14T12:04:00.000-05:00I'm a bit late with this, but I'm so sorry to hear...I'm a bit late with this, but I'm so sorry to hear about Butler. My dog is my best friend and part of my family and I can't stand the thought of losing her, although one day it will happen. I'm sure he is at peace now and that one day you'll be together again. I know when the time comes for Maggie and Teddy, I don't know how I'll be able to handle it. Hugs and thoughts to you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
