It's a long time ago, but I do seem to remember seeing a bunch of flowers that Tut's widow Ankhesenpaaten (or Ankhesenamun) had placed in his tomb. Incredible.Kathryn Warnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00397714441908100576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4614549520973526083.post-91456798847065942482008-11-24T07:54:00.000-05:002008-11-24T07:54:00.000-05:00To actually see the exhibit in Egypt must be beyon...To actually see the exhibit in Egypt must be beyond cool!! I think they've just about got him figured out! We also learned he was quite short -- 5'6" (which is my height). Not bad for a female but small for a male -- but, I imagine, most folks were smaller back then.Lynn Irwin Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11902088926070471878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4614549520973526083.post-48602124777595044272008-11-23T15:23:00.000-05:002008-11-23T15:23:00.000-05:00I watched a show yesterday on the National Geograp...I watched a show yesterday on the National Geographic channel where some scientists had examined the body using high tech medical and imaging equipment. They were showing the break in the leg and explaining how this could have killed him (possibly from the onset of infection). it was very intersting. I would love to see this kind of exhibit some day.Daphnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12838072651419264066noreply@blogger.com
