Viggo!

I had the privilege of meeting Viggo Mortenson several years ago. While I don't presume, just because I was able to spend time with him, that I know him, he comes across as a very quiet, unassuming guy, very non-Hollywood (well, at least, my perception of what Hollywood is), very down to earth. I do know, in the past, he has expressed some disdain for awards. But, this morning, he was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar (for EASTERN PROMISES). It'll be interesting to see if he gets involved with all the hoopla.

And, oh, yeah, Daniel Day-Lewis was nominated, too!
