A Book Not Loved
I love to read -- and it always makes me a bit sad when I've read something which didn't meet my expectations. I'm not a critic or a reviewer -- and I didn't set up this blog or my forum for that reason. But I do like to discuss the books I've loved -- and I usually say nothing about those I don't. But I was so disappointed by a book I recently read that I had to write about the experience of reading it. I've done that over on my forum (link above) in the Musings section, if you'd like to take a gander. I haven't named the book or author because I didn't write what I did in order to bring her down -- I know what it's like to have a story play out in my head and want to get every single bit of it into words. But I've also learned that every single bit is often way too much.
